But what about another classic gambling game, Bingo? Online bingo is a popular way to play in this modern world of gambling, with this truly classic old format coming back to life via smartphone, desktop and tablet.
Online bingo is evolving all the time
Just like all of the aforementioned formats like sports betting on football and horse racing, or those casino house classics like poker and so on, bingo exists online and has evolved to fit the new audience. Bingo is being opened to more people than ever thanks to online bingo and you no longer have to go down he bingo hall for a flutter.
Great graphics have innovated the format to be as enticing as some of the more popular types of games, too, with different themes making for new ways to play. But just in case you are new to the game, how exactly do you play?
Well, here is a guide to bingo.
It’s simple
Bingo isn’t a game that relies on any refined skill, more so just a bit of luck and awareness.
The game involves numbers – how many of which depends on what game you are playing. However, the standard format is numbers 1 to 90, which are read out by the reader. Online of course, this simply pops up on the screen.
Once a number is called, you mark it off, looking to mark off as many as you can.
Scoring terms
The bingo scoring terms are as famous as the game itself, with scenes of winners shouting ‘line’ and ‘full house,’ iconic worldwide.
One line
This is quite simply when a player has a full line of numbers marked off.
What numbers you have on your line will vary from player to player and, as mentioned earlier, will be made up of numbers between 1 and 90 if playing the standard format of bingo. You must get the whole row to win a line.
Two lines
Funnily enough, this is the same as above except used for when two full rows are filled out.
Two lines is, as a result, a better scored and once you get this, a full house might be in sight!
Full house
Once your whole card is filled out, you have yourself a full house.
This means that you have finished the game and if you have done so before anyone else, then you will win the game and the biggest prize. Traditionally, players will shout ‘BINGO!’ once a full house has been achieved.
Now good luck in the online bingo hall.
